Of The Loons
We are delighted to announce the return of our Tour de Angus fundraising cycle ride. The event will take place on Sunday 1st June 2025.
This follows on from similar successful events which started over 9 years ago, and which will see volunteers cycling around the four Angus grounds (Station Park, Glebe Park, Links Park and Gayfield). In the past, funds raised have enabled the Club to enhance our physio and medical equipment. This time around we are seeking to add funds towards much needed ground improvements, which are always ongoing at the aging Station Park, with each cyclist raising funds by sponsorship to complete the event.
You can complete the ride on your own, or share the fun with another cyclist. The total distance is 50 miles but there will be time to stop at each ground before undertaking the next leg.
If you are keen to be part of this year's Tour de Angus, please get in touch with Club Director and organiser John Milne at
In addition if any business would like to be a main sponsor, either for the actual event or the Presentation Event back at Station Park, please get in touch with John.
This is not a race or competition; those who completed previous events will confirm that the group goes at a relaxed pace! There are plenty of stops at the other Angus clubs for refreshments, followed by some nibbles and a presentation back in the 1984 Lounge at Station Park on completion of the event.
The event is open to any cyclist so please encourage family or friends to take part, even if they are not a regular at Station Park.
We look forward to hearing for you!
