Thank You

The ‘Loons’ kept the ‘pot boiling’ as they say, with a hard-won three points against Elgin City on Saturday afternoon, the full ninety plus minutes played out in dreadful overhead conditions.
Many thanks on this sunny Sunday to the 490 supporters who braved the far from spring-like conditions yesterday to back their respective sides on the day.
A big thank you as well to our match sponsor for the visit of City, Dundee-based businessman Ross Morrison. This was the first time Ross, a former Director of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, had supported the ‘Loons’ in this manner, and it was a delight to welcome his party on the day.
We trust they all enjoyed the experience and they chose skipper Stuart Morrison, no relation, we may add, as their Man of the Match, Ross’ daughter carrying out the after-match presentation.

Haste ye back, as they say.
It was certainly a case of ‘weel kent faces’ in the four main hospitality lounges.
Not for the first time this season, Club Director Scott Barn had a party under the D & A Factors Ltd banner in the Ian McPhee Lounge, while those equally superb supporters of the ‘Loons’ cause, Alan and Ian Davie of Alan Davie Transport, entertained their female members of staff and a few other guests in the Doug Houston Lounge.
It was also a warm welcome back to Dave McGregor and his golfing mates from Cunninghill and David Shepherd and his friends, who, as ever, enjoyed their afternoon in the Stewart Kennedy and Archie Knox Lounges respectively.
Thanks indeed to all four groups for their continued support.
Finally, Darren Douglas and his mates occupied the 1984 Lounge Hospitality table for Elgin’s visit and again, thanks yet again for this backing.
Important games are coming thick and fast, and we are back in action on Saturday first at the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park when league leaders East Kilbride are the visitors.
