Forfar Athletic v East Kilbride - Match Information
[Tuesday, 07 April 2026 17:03]
The ‘Loons’ are at home for a second Saturday running and what a mouth watering prospect lies in store for the Athies support as league leaders East Kilbride pay their second visit of the campaign to the Alpha Projects Stadium @ Station Park.
Mick Kennedy’s side sit one point above the Spartans with four games remaining in what is their first season in the SPFL going into Saturday’s contest. However Jim Weir and his squad still have an end of season target in their sights into the bargain. Following on their 2-1 success against Elgin City on Saturday past they share fifth spot with Stranraer whom they meet on Saturday week in the standings and sit only two points adrift of Elgin who occupy the final play-off berth.
It is probably a must win game for the second Saturday in succession for the home players against a side who have won the previous three encounters between the clubs with relative ease so far this term.
Stuart Morrison and his colleagues rose to the occasion last weekend when required and hopefully this Saturday will see the ‘tide turn’ in our favour against the championship hopefuls.
The match on Saturday will have the usual 3pm. kick-off.
